As a life long democrat, I have got say that I have never heard anything so politically, socially or morally skewed as the recent media reports (or lack there of) quoting Senator Obama’s Spiritual Mentor.

I have been very disenchanted by the media coverage of the democratic candidates. The obvious bias toward Senator Obama is a window into a bigger problem with the American media. I have never bought into the liberal media assertions of many conservatives and Fox News, that is until now. Watching the coverage of the Primaries and the treatment of Hillary Clinton, I have no doubt that there is a big disconnect between what is reported and the truth. Fox News is not innocent either however, they make no bones about it. If Hillary Clinton would have attended a church one time that preached that type of hate, the press would be swinging from the rafters, demanding she resign from the senate. The fact that Mr. Obama not only attends the racially charged Church but considers the pastor "like an Uncle" is a deal breaker for me and should be for the rest of America. How could Mr. Obama actually expect this would be acceptable for a Presidential Candidate? His is obviously banking on the continuing "free ride" he has received from most of the media so far. I honestly never thought I would say this but THANK YOU FOX NEWS.

Having opposite political views is good for America because it fuels conversation that allows us, as a society to come to middle ground on a host of issues. However, when we are made aware of something this blatant which is a threat to our Society as a whole, it is time for us to stop being Republicans and Democrats and start being Americans. We all, including the African American Community should not only denounce but be outraged that a U. S. Senator has this kind of relationship with such a radical group.

Calling Trinity a Church does not change the hate in their message or the view they inject. I sincerely hope Americans will stand up to these radicals and not allow this to be sold as religion. This is Racism in it's most disgusting form, in the name of God.

I think its over for Obama, but maybe just the beginning of a difficult national conversation on race. One question is how prevalent are black churches that preach the same lovely message? What percentage of blacks agree with Wright's beliefs and message? There are other questions as well, so here we go. The irony of all this is that the party and the candidates of inclusion and unity are getting torn apart by identity politics which they created.
